Gingerbread

Gingerbread

100g butter
200g brown sugar
1 cup honey
2 eggs lightly beaten
4 cups plain flour
1 cup SRF
1 tab ground ginger
1 tab ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp bicarb soda

sift dry ingredients
melt butter, sugar and honey over low heat until sugar dissolves

 add to the dry ingredients with the eggs.
 mix, knead and roll into a ball
refrigerate for an hour then cut into 4
 roll flat (about 5mm thick) and cut shapes to make house



2 front/back  - 14.5 base, 13cm high, 21cm peak from base
2  sides  17cm x 12.5cm and 2 roof pieces 20cm x 12.5 cm

Join with royal icing and decorate
